Hunters Glen sits on the northeast side of Missouri City, in ZIP 77489. Thirty-four homes sold in Hunters Glen Missouri City in the twelve months to August 2026. The median was $231,000, or $136 per square foot, in a median of 25 days. That is roughly $6,000 above Briargate next door, on slightly more square footage. Hunters Green and Hunters Point Estates are different neighborhoods with their own sales, and this page keeps all three apart.

Five rows above stop short of a number. Dues, the tax stack, flood history, the amenity question and a neighborhood-level active count all need verifying first. They stay blank rather than filled with something plausible. Send me a specific address and I will pull the record behind each one.
Who this page is for
- Buyers weighing Hunters Glen against Briargate next door, where the medians sit within a few thousand dollars of each other.
- Anyone who searched one of the Hunter names and is not sure which neighborhood the listings belong to.
- Owners in Hunters Glen pricing a sale against what closed nearby rather than against a portal estimate.
- Downsizers who want 77489 pricing and a plain neighborhood instead of a master plan and its dues. My downsizing guide covers how that math usually runs.
What Hunters Glen Missouri City is, and what it is not
This page covers one neighborhood, reported on my 77489 table as Hunters Glen, on the northeast side of Missouri City in Fort Bend County. Its homes carry build years from 1975 through 2015. Most of the stock is late 1970s and 1980s, with newer infill behind it.
Three neighborhoods in this ZIP start with the word Hunters, and they are not interchangeable:
- Hunters Green is its own row: 10 sales at a median of $251,250, 2,070 square feet, 60 days on market. Larger homes, a thinner buyer pool, and more than double the Hunters Glen selling time.
- Hunters Point Estates is a third row: 6 sales at a median of $255,000, 2,053 square feet, 30 days, built 1985 to 1998. The highest median of the three, and the lowest price per square foot at $124.
- Hunters Glen Park and Hunters Trail Park are City of Missouri City parks. Park names are not subdivision names, and a listing near either one does not put a house in Hunters Glen.
It is also not Briargate, the neighboring row with its own Briargate guide. Nor is it Lexington Village, the 2025 and 2026 new construction that prices at $211 per square foot in the same ZIP. Quail Valley sits on the other side of the city and has its own Quail Valley guide. Sienna and The Colony are in 77459, at roughly double the median.
Hunters Glen Park is a city park, not a neighborhood amenity
Hunters Glen Park at 1340 Independence Boulevard is a 17.58-acre City of Missouri City park. Its facilities include a walking trail, two basketball courts, lighted soccer and football fields, a playground, a covered pavilion and a sprayground. It is a city park, open to everyone, funded by the city rather than by a neighborhood association. Do not read it as an HOA amenity, and do not assume any pool access from it. The city publishes facilities and hours for Hunters Glen Park on missouricitytx.gov.
Hunters Glen prices and the last twelve months
Thirty-four homes closed in Hunters Glen between August 2025 and August 2026, at a median of $231,000. That is the second largest sales count of any named neighborhood in ZIP 77489, behind Briargate at 51. It works out to about 14 percent of the 246 homes that sold across the whole ZIP.
Price per square foot came in at $136, on a median size of 1,641 square feet. Against the ZIP as a whole, that runs $14,500 below the $245,500 median close. It is also $4 under the ZIP figure of $140 per square foot.
The gap is mostly size and age rather than a discount. Hunters Glen sits 19 square feet under the ZIP median of 1,660. The ZIP number also carries everything from 1950s stock to 2026 new construction.
Median days on market was 25, against 27 for the ZIP. Well-prepared homes here move at the ZIP pace or slightly better. Hunters Green at 60 days is a very different picture.
All of these are closed sales, which is history rather than a forecast. The percentages and the differences between medians are my own arithmetic, worked from the published counts on the 77489 table. Nobody can promise what any individual house will bring.
Hunters Glen compared to Briargate, Hunters Green and 77489
| Neighborhood | Sold | Median sold | $/Sq Ft | Median sq ft | Days on market | Built |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hunters Glen | 34 | $231,000 | $136 | 1,641 | 25 | 1975 to 2015 |
| Briargate | 51 | $225,000 | $137 | 1,572 | 26 | 1970 to 2024 |
| Hunters Green | 10 | $251,250 | $131 | 2,070 | 60 | 1984 to 1999 |
| Hunters Point Estates | 6 | $255,000 | $124 | 2,053 | 30 | 1985 to 1998 |
| ZIP 77489 overall | 246 | $245,500 | $140 | 1,660 | 27 | 1950 to 2026 |
One snapshot, one source. Every row comes from the same Houston Association of Realtors MLS pull on my Missouri City 77489 page, closed sales August 2025 through August 2026. Rows under about ten sales move a lot on one unusual house. Read Hunters Green and Hunters Point Estates as directional.
Three things stand out. Hunters Glen and Briargate sit in the same price band, $6,000 apart on the median and a dollar apart per square foot, on about 69 more square feet here. Hunters Green and Hunters Point Estates both post higher medians on roughly 2,050 to 2,070 square feet. Their $131 and $124 per square foot say the money buys size rather than finish. And Hunters Green sits at 60 days against Hunters Glen at 25, the sharpest split on the table.
Schools: verify the address, not the neighborhood
Fort Bend ISD serves this part of Missouri City. I do not publish third-party campus ratings, and I do not give a neighborhood-level zoning answer.
There is a Fort Bend ISD campus named Hunters Glen Elementary. A shared name does not zone a house. Attendance boundaries move as campuses fill. MLS school fields get entered once by a listing agent and rarely revisited, and the MLS disclaims its own school data. Some homes in this neighborhood may be zoned elsewhere entirely.
Run the exact address through the Fort Bend ISD attendance boundary lookup before you write an offer. Confirm it again at closing.
Who Hunters Glen does not suit
Some honest disqualifiers, because a page that says yes to everybody is useless.
- If you want master-planned amenities. The pools, clubhouses and amenity programs sit on the 77459 side of the city, at close to double the median. My moving to Sienna guide covers that side, dues included.
- If you want new construction. The build range runs to 2015 and most of it is far older. Lexington Village is where the new houses in this ZIP closed, at $211 per square foot.
- If you need square footage above all. The median here is 1,641 square feet. Hunters Green and Hunters Point Estates both run around 2,050.
- If you cannot budget for an older house. Roof, HVAC, plumbing and electrical panels all reach the end of their lives on 1975 to 1990 stock. Get a thorough inspection and price the work into your offer.

No. Hunters Green is a separate neighborhood in the same ZIP. It reported 10 sales at a median of $251,250, 2,070 square feet and 60 days on market, built 1984 to 1999. Bigger houses, a much slower pace, and its own comparables. Never price one off the other.

No, though the two price almost identically. Briargate is the neighboring row on my 77489 table. It shows 51 sales at a median of $225,000, $137 per square foot, 1,572 square feet and 26 days. Different subdivision, different plats, separate comparables, even where the medians nearly touch.
